Thank you!
Psalm 33:20-22:
We put our hope in the Lord. He is our help and our shield. In Him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone
I am always amazed and humbled by the generosity of our community. Because of your response, we have met our need for the upcoming payroll and are in a good position financially. I can’t thank you enough. Even though times like this can be stressful and anxiety-producing, it creates opportunities for us to demonstrate that our hope is truly in God alone.
After our board meeting last Wednesday when we discussed the need, I shared this quote from Eugene Peterson.
“Hoping does not mean doing nothing. It is not fatalistic resignation. It means going about our assigned tasks, confident that God will provide the meaning and the conclusions.”
This quote is an encouragement as it reminds me to stop worrying about the outcomes. God is more than capable of providing. I only have to complete the “assigned tasks” as they are presented.
Thank you for continuing to be the hands and feet of God in our city and in your support of our ministry.
